Samy's Curry (Dempsey) Samy’s Curry was founded by the late Mr. M. Veerasamy, back in the 1950’s. Mr.Veerasamy, who himself was an excellent chef, is credited with the creation of some of the signature dishes like Chicken Masala, Fish Cutlet and Mysore Mutton.Mr. Veerasamy started Samy’s Curry as a small establishment at Tank Road back in the 1950’s. After which he moved the restaurant to the Ministry of Social Affairs at Pears Hill. Then he finally moved to the restaurant’s current location at Dempsey Road in the early 1980’s.

Curry so Good!
Always on the look out for good curry, I went to Samy's Curry at the suggestion of a coworker. I was surprised to learn that this is one of the oldest restaurants in Singapore. I don't often go to Dempsey Hill so I haven't tried this place before. The food is just irresistible, the curry had the perfect blend of flavors and seasonings. I have suddenly found a new favorite in Samy's Curry.

My choice for a curry
When it comes to foods and restaurant, I admit I’m very choosy. I never settled for anything less than what my money is worth. And this is the aspect I am most satisfied at Samy's Curry . The prices are definitely worth the servings and taste. Samy's Curry is a must-try restaurant.

Samy's Curry is the best curry I have tasted! I loved it.. I crave for it all the time... I should have known this restaurant earlier! Well, many of my colleagues suggested this restaurant to me whenever I tell them I'm a curry fanatic.. But I just kept on forgetting the restaurant's name.. Until one of my friends brought me there and ordered that special curry... Oh, I really loved it! I forgot my name when I tasted it! Samy's Curry is the best place that serves the BEST curry! The restaurant of my life! Well, I just love everything in there!
