Selection of some of the best Irish Pubs in Singapore
Irish pubs history begins as “Spirit Grocery” stores combining the selling of food and alcoholic beverages, in Ireland in the mid 18th century. This was due to the declining of alcohol sales in Ireland.
In Ireland of today, many pubs still resemble these grocery shops from the 18th and 19th centuries. Irish pubs are known for their atmosphere and are known worldwide to the extent that there is no major city in the world that does not have more than a few Irish pubs.
If you are wondering why the name of the Irish pub is always a “Name”; well, it is because Irish pubs usually were named after the current or a previous owner of the pub.
In Singapore there are many fine Irish Pubs that hold to that special atmosphere. There is a large range of beers and other alcohol beverages and you can always eat some of those more “traditional” meals.
Singapore Dine’s team was very happy to go on the mission of finding for our devoted readers some of its’ favorite Irish pubs so go out, get a sip of the Guiness beer and get into that special IRISH ATMOSPHERE!
